To cater the needs of Professionals & Academia, ARAI has started series of Proficiency Improvement Programmes (PIPs) through its Academy.

The next Two Days Proficiency Improvement Programmes (PIPs) on "EV Motor Development, Testing & Certification" is scheduled on 10^th & 11^th February 2025 (Monday & Tuesday) at ARAI-FID, Chakan, Pune.

Background & Objectives of this Programme are as below:

The 2-day training programme aims to deliver a comprehensive and technically enriching experience focused on the development, testing, and certification of electric vehicle motors. It covers the foundational aspects of xEV architecture and EV motor technologies, including mechanical design considerations, motor drives, and control algorithm development. Participants will gain an understanding of the regulatory requirements essential for EV motors, along with advanced testing techniques such as machine-in-loop testing. The inclusion of live demonstrations on electric motor trainer kit, practical sessions on motor testing setups, and a guided visit to the E-Mobility Lab of ARAI-Chakan ensures a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, empowering participants to excel in EV motor development and validation processes.
