To cater the needs of Professionals & Academia, ARAI has started series of Proficiency Improvement Programmes (PIPs) through its Academy.

The next Two Days Certificate Programme on “Automotive Cybersecurity - Advanced" is scheduled on 06^th & 07^th March 2025. (Thursday & Friday) at ARAI-FID, Chakan, Pune. The programme is jointly organised by ARAI Pune and ETAS Automotive India Pvt. Ltd.               

Background & Objectives of this Programme are as below:

As today's vehicles become increasingly connected and software-driven, the need for advanced automotive cybersecurity is paramount. Modern cars are essentially computers on wheels, vulnerable to hacking that could compromise safety-critical systems like brakes or steering. With the rise of over-the-air updates and connected services, the attack surface expands, making vehicles potential targets for data breaches and malicious control. Robust cybersecurity measures are essential to protect against these threats. The increasing complexity and connectivity of modern vehicles necessitate specialized training programs on advanced automotive cybersecurity. Considering the above need, this training program is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills. It covers a wide range of topics including but not limited to Automotive cyber security standards & regulations, ISO21434 & ISO24089 work product for CSMS & SUMS, Attack types, Security goals, Cryptographic protocols, Automotive Security Controls and Vehicle security monitoring
