Additive manufacturing has grown in popularity around the world, and it is now a multibillion-dollar business incorporating a variety of materials and techniques. AM has established itself as a rigorous scientific and commercially feasible method to produce metallic parts with improved mechanical properties. Certain business problems, such as high machine and material costs, do exist. Sustainable manufacturing, optimization tools, and simulation models are required due to the intricacies involved in order to save time and money on costly trial and error. Sustainable manufacturing, optimization tools, and simulation models are required due to the intricacies involved in order to save time and money on costly trial and error. Scientists and business are paying attention to topology optimization and simulation of AM processes, which are commercially available. The webinar is the 1st webinar under the series Advanced Materials & Manufacturing. Participants can learn about current developments and innovations in the fields of Design for additive manufacturing, topology optimization, and simulation technologies by attending this webinar.
