Prakash M Telang, former managing director of Tata Motors, passed away on Wednesday. The industry professional had retired from the company in 2012, after a 50-year stint. Telang was involved in many key projects of the OEM, including the 407 light truck which helped Tata Motors successfully challenge the established Japanese players in the segment.
