To cater the needs of Professionals & Academia, ARAI has started series of Proficiency Improvement Programmes (PIPs) through its Academy.

The next Two Days PIP on "Vehicle Body Engineering (Includes EV platform)" scheduled on 15th& 16thJanuary 2025 (Wednesday & Thursday) at ARAI-FID, Chakan, Pune.

Background & Objectives of this PIP are as below:

In today's world, safety is paramount and the vehicle body plays a crucial role being a backbone of a vehicle, absorbing impact forces and safeguarding passengers during accidents. To address this challenge ARAI, through its Academy at Chakan, is conducting a 2-day training programme on "Vehicle Body Engineering (includes EV Platform)" scheduled on 15th and 16th January 2025.

This training specially focuses on EV platforms & others topics are:
- Vehicle Body Development Process
- Vehicle Types, Layouts, & Nomenclature
- Principles of crashworthiness
- CAE techniques for BIW performance & CFD to improve aerodynamic performance
- Vehicle Crash Regulations
