To realize the grand vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister for Atmanirbhar Bharat, the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India is engaged in the development of Technology and Innovation Platforms to promote innovation in the product design and development in the Capital Goods Sector. The four platforms being developed by AMTDC- IIT Madras (kite), ARAI (TechNovuus), CMTI (drishti), and ICAT (ASPIRE) are jointly offering the sponsored internships and projects to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students. These internships are expected to promote innovation and practical problem-solving abilities among the youth through hands-on working on real problems.
Eligibility criteria
✔ Internships: Freshers, Sophomore and Pre-final year undergraduate students
✔ Projects: Final year undergraduate and postgraduate students Outcomes
✔ Skill development by providing exposure to real time industrial challenges
✔ Opportunity to connect and collaborate with experts from Academia and Industries.
Students from all branches of engineering are eligible for internships / projects.
● Internships and projects are available in both virtual and physical mode.
● Selection criteria will depend on the internship opportunities available at the respective technology innovation platforms.
