Engineers working on engine & vehicle development, need to validate their improvements that are frequently so minute that they require measurement technology with best accuracy and data retention. Engine testing is one such area, where the engine dynamometer and other instrumentation / utilities needs to be integrated with the total test cell facility, such that their performance and data are not compromised by the environment in which they operate, especially when certain certifications are to be complied.
The primary aim of this module is to bring together the theory and practice of engine testing, be it related to test cell integration, calibration, engine performance monitoring or emission measurement.
